The month of Aippasi boasts many holy events like Deepavali and the Avatars of many Azhwars and Acharyas whose contributions are the concrete foundations for Sri Vaishnavism. It is a privilege to celebrate their birth and contributions.
Sri Venkatesvara Lotus Temple in Virginia celebrated the Thirunakshatrams of Poigai Azhwar, Bhuthath Azhwar and Pey Azhwar, the first three of ten Azhwars and Sri Pillai Loka:charyar, Sri Manava:la Ma:munikal and Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami on November 10th and 11th, 2007.

Thiruppa:vai goshti
The day started with Thiruppa:vai goshti and Sattrumurai to Sri Lakhsmi Venkateswara Peruma:l followed by Theertha goshti and Prasa:da Viniyogam. Few minutes later, Navakalasa Snapanam is done by Sri Seethara:ma Bhatta:charyar for Thirumanjanam of Peruma:l. It started with Vishwaksena Puja and then respective Kumbha Ava:hanam.
Thirumanjanam
Then the Navakalasa Thirumanjanam of Peruma:l started with the excellent chanting of Thaitteriya Upanishad by the goshti. It followed with Sahasra Dharai Thirumanjanam of Peruma:l during which goshti chanted Purusha, Sri and Bhu Sukthams. After that Iiravadai (Wet cloth of Peruma:l) theertham is done during which goshti chanted Vennai Alaintha Kunungum and the Thirumanjana kaala paasurams.
Iyal Goshti
While Peruma:l Alanka:ram (dressing of the Lord) is going on inside the curtain, goshti chanted Mudal Thiruvanda:di, Irandam Thiruvanda:di and Mu:nram Thiruvanda:di as a part of Mudhal (First three) Azhwar Thirunakshatram celebration. After few minutes, the curtain is opened and Peruma:l, along with Azhwars and Acharyas gave a wonderful darsan to all the Bha:gavathas.
After that, Peruma:l, along with Azhwars and Acharyas received a grand Sa:ttrumurai. Arulappa:du is done to Mudal Azhwars and Naal pattu (Tamil Avatara taniyan) and Iyal Sattru (a group of tamil slokas made together by Svami Manavalamamunikal to be chanted after any iyal prabhandam) took place. Later, theertha viniyogam and delicious prasa:da viniyogam took place.
The evening started with Nithyapadi(daily prabhandam chanting) and continued with a brief introduction of rahasya granthas by Sri TCA Venkatesan svami. Then chanting of Mumukshupadi was done by Sri N.C.Narashiman Swami. In between each of the adhyayams (chapters) Sri TCA Venkatesan svami gave explanation of the each chapter which was recited. It ended with a grand sattrumurai with Arulappadu to Swami Pillailokacharyar, naal pattu, theertha viniyogam and prasada viniyogam took place consequently.
