{tab=Vedics Foundation}

"Vedics Foundation", is a non-profit organization registered in the united states.  It was formed by a few motivated youngsters in the year 1999 under the able guidance of Srivaishnava elders and Acharyas.  The main purpose of Vedics is to preserve, propagate and promote the various aspects of Srivaishnava Sri Ramanuja sampradayam and to spark a movement behind our religion, and to channel the energy of all interested people towards a common cause.

Vedics Foundation is run by a group of volunteers in USA, India, and in other countries.

Srivaishnavam stands on 3 legs

  1. Pramanam (The perceptible evidence)
  2. PramEyam (The Ultimate Goal)
  3. PramAtha  (the Apostles/AchAryAs who unearth and disseminate the pramANam to understand the PramEyAm)

Preserving pramAnams

  • By publishing/republishing books/commentaries on various works of Azhvars and Poorvacharyas.
  • Recording of sampradayic upanyasams/kalashepams of various acharyas and scholars on various topics, released and made easily available to Srivaishnavas throughout the world.
  • Making Sampradayic upanyasams released by other organizations/individuals easily available to all.
  • Recording of azhvar’s arulicheyal in santhai format (for learners) to make interested bhagavatas learn them in the comfort of their houses
  • Conducting arulicheyal and stotra pada santhai’s in local chapters to help Srivaishnavas learn the same.
  • Tele-bridge upanyasams – Bring scholars live through telephone- to people in US.
  • Parichaya – Teach the basics of Srivaishnavism online – with help of an introductory course in collaboration with SrivaishnavaSri, Trichy
  • Propagate Srivaishnava sampradayam through ebooks and ejournal.

Preserving pramEyam

  • Monthly and one-time support to various kainkaryams in various divyadesams and abhimana stalams (azhvar/acharya avatara stalams)
  • Help in maintaining corpus funds for various divyadesa kainkaryams

Support to PramAthas

  • Support to Acharyas
  • Support to Srivaishnava mutts/thirumaligais/trusts registered in India for doing bhagavat/bhagavata/acharya kainkaryams
  • Srivaishnava thadheeyaradhanai
  • Support to eligible srivaishnavas – family support and education

Other Social Activities

  • Help to Tsunami victims – Donating boats, vessels to fishermen; constructing a temple for them
  • Donate notebooks to Adi dravida school children in a divyadesam

All the above services are rendered under the name of ‘Vedics Foundation’ by the liberal support of kind hearted donors throughout the world.  Vedics is a Srivaishnava Organisation to support and extent hands to ‘ALL SRIVAISHNAVA RELATED ACTIVITIES’.  Vedics has volunteers based all over USA and in India.
